Privacy and confidentiality
A plain-language note about what is kept, who sees it, and where confidentiality ends.
What is collected
When you book a session you provide your name, contact details, and a short description of what you would like to talk about. This is used only to arrange and prepare for your session.
Session notes
Brief notes may be kept to support continuity between sessions. They are stored securely and are not shared with anyone else except in the circumstances described below.
Confidentiality and its limits
What you say in a session is confidential. There are two exceptions. The first is where there appears to be a serious and immediate risk to your life or to someone else’s. The second is where disclosure is required by law. If either arises, you will be told before any information is shared, wherever it is possible to do so.
Young people
Where the client is a minor, what will and will not be shared with parents or guardians is explained and agreed at the start, so that everyone knows where they stand.
Third-party services
Appointment scheduling, payments, reminders, email and video calling are handled by established third-party services. Their own privacy policies apply to the information they process.
Your choices
You may ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to restore.life312@gmail.com.
