Sessions
What actually happens.
If you have never done this before, here is the whole thing, start to finish, so there are no surprises.
Ways to meet
How sessions work.
-
Online video
A private video call. You’ll receive a joining link with your confirmation email — no app or account needed, it opens in your browser.
-
Wherever you are
Sessions are held online, so it does not matter where in the world you are. Clients outside India are welcome.
-
Your own time zone
The booking calendar converts times automatically. You choose a slot shown in your local time, and it is booked correctly at both ends.
Step by step
Booking a first session.
1. Choose a time
Pick the type of session and a slot that suits you. You’ll only see times that are genuinely free.
2. Tell me a little
A few short questions: your name, how to reach you, and what you’d like to talk about. A sentence is enough — you do not have to explain everything in writing.
3. Confirmation
You’ll get an email straight away with the time, and the joining link if the session is online.
4. The session
We talk. I’ll ask what brought you, and what you’d like to be different. There is no test and nothing you have to prepare.
5. Afterwards
At the end we decide together whether to meet again, and how often. There is no obligation to continue.
Confidentiality
What you say in a session stays between us. The exceptions are the standard ones: if there is a serious risk to your life or someone else’s, or if the law requires disclosure. If that ever comes up, I will tell you before I do anything.
For young people, I explain at the start what will and will not be shared with parents, so that everyone knows where they stand.
Fees
| Session | Length | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Individual counselling | 50 minutes | ₹1,500 |
| Adolescent counselling | 50 minutes | ₹1,500 |
| Career counselling | 50 minutes | ₹1,500 |
| Marital & relationship counselling | 60 minutes | ₹2,000 |
| Follow-up session | 50 minutes | ₹1,500 |
A first session is usually a chance to describe what is going on and decide together whether continuing would help. There is no obligation to book further sessions.
Session times
Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (India Standard Time).
A standard session is 50 minutes. Appointments are set an hour apart, so there is a 10 minute gap between sessions.
These are India Standard Time. If you are booking from elsewhere, the calendar converts them to your own time zone automatically, so the slot you choose is the slot you get.
If you need urgent help Counselling is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services, or call Tele-MANAS, the Government of India mental health helpline, on 14416 (available 24 hours).
